Beth & Matt's Excellent Adventure - Part 6

Part 6

Why yes, this IS strip number 666, I thought you'd never ask! ;)

Truth be told, I probably never would've heard of Aleister Crowley (who was indeed called the "Antichrist" and "The Great Beast 666" by some) if it weren't for that kickass song by Ozzy.

Comic transcript

TRANSCRIPTION COURTESY OF JOSEPH HOUK - [1946; a "Questionnaire for Mr. Crowley"]

  1. What went down in your head?
  2. Did you talk to the dead?
  3. You fooled all the people with magic. You waited on Satan's call. Did you think you were pure?
  4. Would you ride my white horse (it's symbolic, of course)?
  5. I hear that maiden's call. Was it polemically sent? I want to know what you meant.

[An older gentleman is reading these words with some level of confusion] (Aleister Crowley, the noted Thelemist) "My word, these are some very strange questions." (MG) "They didn't come from me, Mister Crowley. They're actually from some crazy fellow by the name of John Michael Osbourne." [aka "Ozzy"; BG is in the background reading Crowley's "The Book of Lies" while one of Crowley's famed sayings, "DO WHAT THOU WILT" is on a shelf in the background]
