Comic transcript

TRANSCRIPTION COURTESY OF JOSEPH HOUK - [Episode recap, via PW's iPad] (Announcer) "In Pasadena, everything came up roses for the buyers. Darrell Sheets bowled over the competition with a total of over $4,000. Jarrod and Brandi turned a bunch of classic film trailers into a box office take of $2,500. Dave Hester was far from smelling like a rose, but wound up with $2,000 thanks in part to an old gas pump. And Barry Weiss took some old comic books and a vintage pinball machine and collected a $950 bonus." [Scorecard says Darrell copped $4200 from the episode] [The Now And Then Second Hand Store] (Jarrod) "Hi, can I help you find anything?" (PW) "Hey Jarrod! I saw where you scored those trailer reels for big bucks!" (JS) "Oh yeah! Was that an awesome find or what?" (Brandi) "They had 'Star Wars', 'Jaws', 'E.T.' and 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'... All in Mint Condition!" (JS) "Whoever got those was either a theater worker, had special connections or just went through a lot of trouble to get them!" (CW, her eye roll evident) "Yeah, that sounds just about right..." [1977 – and you know what that means...] (CW, playing the seductress) "You don't need those 'Star Wars' trailers anymore, doooo yooou?" (Bud, from 1977: The Comic) "Um... Well... Ah..."
