No Time-Traveling Dogs Were Harmed In The Making Of This Comic

Usually if I think of time-travel gags involving fictional characters - or if the situation would require that time-travel be made public - I'll do them as a dream sequence. Especially with the fact that this trick takes place before a live studio audience (where David Letterman does his show in the same place that Ed Sullivan did his).
